Focus and Scope

Jalitra: Jurnal Pembelajaran dan Linguistik Terapan welcomes high-quality manuscripts resulted from a research project in the scope of learning and applied linguistic which includes, but is not limited to the following topics: 

1. The journal receives the results of research on teaching and learning

2. Design or Development Research in teaching and learning.

3. Second/foreign language acquisition, teaching methods, curriculum design, syllabus, language assessment.

4. Discourse & Text Analysis, media discourse, academic writing, pragmatics, genre analysis.

5. Translation & Interpreting Studies: Translation theory, localization, subtitling, legal/technical translation, interpreter training.

6. Lexicography & Terminology: Dictionary compilation, glossary development, term standardization, specialized vocabularies.

7. English for Specific Purposes - ESP/EAP: Academic English, English for Science/Technology, Business English, Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA).
